Sustainability Leader at IBM

Amira Alfa works at IBM where she is a Sustainability Leader, working with teams across the Americas to help their clients scale operationalizing sustainability. Prior to joining IBM, Amira worked at Bloomberg LP where she led 2 global teams of data analysts and data scientists specialized in ESG Data and Supply Chain Data. The ESG data team is responsible for reporting and enhancing ESG-related content including company-reported and normalized metrics, industry specific metrics, proprietary ESG scores and the Gender Equality Index scores. And the Supply Chain data team is responsible for providing companies with deep insights into their purchasing and production costs, procurement expenditures and identifying potential supplier and customer risks such as ESG risks.
